P2-Y2-L2-Gitamritam- Introduction 1

In the path of Manthan Yoga, YOGA happens automatically as it is said in Bhagawadgita by Lord Shree Krishna. The art of yoga naturally you will display in your lives, by your actions and words unknowingly. But you do not know weather it is explained in Bhagwadgita or not. From now on, all slokas of Bhagawadgita will be given in the lessons (which will be released as a book for the public audience).  I call this as GITAMRITAM. Because you are going to drink the essence of the Gita as you keep reading this text while the art of yoga loads into your system. As you keep reading this, you will go through several experiences in sleep and also in real lives.

See the above picture clearly. Lord Krishna is milking the cow. Cow is the Vedanta or Upanishads which is the essence of Vedas. Lord Krishna is milking the ESSENCE from the essence. Milk is Gita and it is Amrit. Amrit gives you the TRUE KNOWLEDGE of knowing that you are actually deathless and you are neither born nor you are dead, you are that which always existed, existing and will always exist.  Arjuna is the calf which is not there in the picture but he is dearer to the mother cow (who is Vedanta). Those who read this text will keep drinking Gitamrit with its energy and art of yoga being loaded into you automatically.

Bhagawadgita is the presentation of two worlds. One physical world and the second world is internal world of every man.

Internal field of man is equal to the external world (field). Emotions, thoughts, evaluation of dharma and coming to conclusion before doing any actions etc, belong to the internal world. From the internal world, the action gets born and then the action happens physically in the external world.  The action can be talking or acting with hands or legs.

So you can say, the internal world is meant to act in yoga (i.e in balance and in union with all other people), before the actions in the external world. Example : You eat a sweet that you like without thinking much in the external world. But before that action, the image of the sweet, its smell, its taste and all arise from the internal memory and then they produce the saliva in your mouth. All this process happens in a fraction of second and the process is so subtle that you cannot hold its process or measure its process step by step. It can only happen, when you go deep inward and do the sadhana internally.

So, first the WAR FIELD is your own internal field. Continuously the war is happening inside you, between right and wrong which has impact in the external world. So the internal world and the external world are one and the same.

So right or wrong as per the laws of Nature is first thought and decided inside and then the action takes place in the external world.

The more you go inward, the more you will have control on your actions that you take in the external world. Bhagawadgita is all about internal world, though it appears to be of the external world.

Background: Try to google and find, who are kauravas, who are pandavas and find out about the mahabharat war. You should know this background to read Bhagawadgita.

You can consider, Pandavas are the positive side of yours in your internal world while the Kauravas belong to negative side of yours in your internal world.

Arjuna who is the best warrior in the Pandavas side (the positive side), his chariot is driven by Lord Krishna who is the supernatural power or god.  Best warrior means, who is best at cutting the negativities in the field. He has all powers and required sharp mind that evaluates what is right and what is wrong and above all, he only takes actions that are in harmony with the dharma (the right order of things as per laws of Nature). There are other four pandavas but the super natural power or
God only drives the chariot of Arjuna who is the best warrior which means, who has the best warfare to cut the negativity for the sake of the truth or dharma.

That means, the super natural power gets ready to drive you, only you become the BEST OF THE WARRIORS which means, best of the yogis.

Now the sad story of this BEST WARRIOR or YOGI also starts here, even after, he is assisted or driven by the super natural power. Even by having the supernatural power by his side, he gets weak by looking at the enemy army in which all his relatives, cousins, grandfathers, gurus are there.

Going to the context internal world, your enemies such as jealousy, hatred, anger, greed, lust all these are your own cousins and relatives to which you are attached to. You are interested to leave them. You want to continue associating with them. In the same way, seeing the kith and kin in the enemy army, Arjuna drops his weapon and says, he is not interested to fight with all those who are in the enemy army, which means, he is attached to the men in the enemy side. He has soft corner for those enemy men, just like the way you are attached to your weaknesses internally.

So Arjuna says to Krishna, his chariot driver (who is God) that – Krishna, I don’t want to fight with my own men; I cannot kill my own family men. By killing them, I will not get any peace as they are my own men, I don’t want to rule the kingdom, which will come after killing my own men, I don’t want to fight nor do I want any victory, I am dejected to participate in the war. This is how Arjuna says to Krishna. That is when, Krishna gives the ART OF YOGA in the form of Bhagawadgita. Krishna is Bhagwan (god) and gita is the teachings of the truth and hence it is called Bhagawad Gita.
