Kula means the sect or creed, in you are born, especially those who are from India. Others from other countries, also they must have practiced certain religious spiritual path which they adopted from parents, ancestors and all.

So, because you, your parents or your ancestors practiced certain path (Christianity or whatever the religion you followed) or connected to certain kula devata (in India), you definitely owe certain thing TECHNICALLY as per the laws of Nature that Kula Devata (or religion or the spiritual path that you practiced – this one for followers from other countries).

If you are Indian – follow this

So, if you are from India, you talk to your parents or elders and identify your Kula Devata. You are required to satisfy the soul of that devata by offering something once a year or something. So, if you can go and visit the place of that kula devata (if you live close to the temple of that kula devata), and offer clothing (if female devata, you can offer, saree or any kind of clothing with kukum, haldi, bangles).  For male gods, you can just offer clothing, food and little money which goes to the temple. You can probably also break coconut and offer some money along with them. You can also offer any food or something (as nivedan).

If you have the kula devata temple close to you, then, you can probably think about the name of the kula devata on a day and make an oath that, you will do the offering on so and so day. Then you can make arrangements of all the items said above and on that specific day, you can either go alone or go with your family and do the offering.

If you are Indian and you don’t have any temple of the kula devata around,  do not have such temple of your kula devata, then, you can probably think about the name of the kula devata on a day and make a oath that, you will do the offering on so and so day. Then you can make arrangements of all the items said above and on that specific day, you can either go alone to the temple or go with your family. Talk to the priest or someone there and do the offering.

If you don’t have any temple close by, then you can take the oath as said above, then, you can arrange all the items said above and then do the offering to any poor people. While offering, you can think or say in the mind, the name of the devata and say that you are doing the offering to a human in the name of that devata (If you cannot get sari etc, you can even buy the usual clothing that is worn in your city or country that you are currently living – such clothing you can include in the offering. You can also include relevant food. If you cannot get kumkum and haldi, you can leave them no problem). But give some money as well along with the clothing.  Every year you can do this way.

If you are not Indian – follow this

You in your childhood with the guidance of your parents, you must have gone to church or mosque or must have followed certain ways or religious practices.   You are born in that family because, to get rid of your karma and also to realize the god or self by the practices they show.  Your parents emotions, your ancestors emotions and all are connected to you in the background all times.  Along with such emotions, you also have the spiritual emotions connected to the path practiced and the god you believed in.  That god you believed in also would have certain emotions connected to you.

Knowing the truth is a science which is beyond the religion. But religions give required discipline and love towards god which are basic things. But the journey of spirituality gets MORE TECHNICAL and becomes SCIENCE which is beyond religion.

Currently you may not follow the path you earlier followed, or you may still be following (in addition to this spiritual path of Omism). May be once a year, you can offer – some clothing, food (any kind of food) plus also some money to any poor person (who is in need of all those). While offering, you can say the name of the god in your mind and offer all those.

Human is the GOD-PARTICLE (in fact every living being and non-living thing as well), so if you offer all those things to a human, that human’s good feelings and satisfaction will reach the God and in turn, you will also receive the God’s blessings through the emotions of that person. This kind of offering is much better than offering or donating great money to some priests or religious groups. You will directly receive the blessings and you will also experience great satisfaction and happiness which you never experienced by doing this way. Once a year you can do this way. You can either choose a woman or man to do the offering. It does not matter.

Getting relived from the karmas of the creed or sect that you are born in

We all are born in certain part of the earth (country) in a womb (which belongs to a specific religion and then may be based on our karma, we move to other countries and do various jobs. So, we all owe to that sect or creed and the religious path that you were born in, which has to be respected or recognized. Every family would have ancestors, the spiritual path (may be religion) that you were born in also would have its own angel souls and teacher souls (priests and some teachers of that path) in addition to God that sect or creed that connected to.

When you do this offering, you would recognize and respect all of them and they in return bless you. they are not much concerned if you are still following their spiritual path or not. Their objectives are more scientific to get you closer to god. But their blessings in specific would add value to your life, your happiness, your success, careers and health.

By doing this way every year, you will slowly get rid of the karma you owe back to that sect or creed you were born in, which gets you much closer to the god or the true self.

You will find this OFFERING benefitting you in your life, in two to three months from the day you give the offering.
